Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The KASIBOR app and this website are provided by KASIBOR LTD, 2 Bath Mews, Bath Parade, Cheltenham, GL53 7HL, United Kingdom (“KASIBOR”, “we”). KASIBOR LTD is the controller under the UK GDPR and the data controller (veri sorumlusu) under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). 2. Information that stays on your device

To work, the app stores only what you enter yourself:

• your name, if you choose to add it;
• your interests, discovery frequency and notification settings;
• the status of discoveries (started, completed, skipped);
• ratings and notes for completed discoveries.

This information is stored only in the app’s private storage on your iPhone and is encrypted by iOS. It is never sent to us or anyone else. We do not have a copy and cannot restore it if it is lost.

3. Information we collect

None. KASIBOR does not ask for your email, phone number, age, gender, location or device identifiers. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, does not use the advertising identifier and does not request access to your camera, photos, location or contacts. The app opens this website when you tap a link such as the Privacy Policy. When it starts, it also contacts our update server to check for signed maintenance updates that fix errors, translations and visual issues. This request contains only technical information (app and runtime version, platform, update channel); as with any internet connection, your IP address also reaches the server. We use this information only to deliver the update and not to identify you. What you enter in the app is not sent with this request. The app also works without an internet connection. The database of discoveries is built into the app.

4. Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. Because they can appear on the lock screen, they contain only the name of the discovery — never your name or notes. You can turn them off at any time in iPhone Settings.

5. Backups

Like other apps, KASIBOR data may be included in your iCloud or computer backups, which you control under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not run our own sync.

6. When you contact us

If you email our support, we receive your email address and message. We use them only to reply, based on our legitimate interest, and delete the correspondence no later than 12 months after the issue is resolved. Our email provider may process this correspondence outside Turkey.

7. Apple and the App Store

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes download information under its own privacy policy. If you choose to share analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may give us aggregated statistics (such as number of installs) that do not identify you.

8. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of the request) to keep the website secure. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

9. Deleting your data

In the app, Profile → Settings → Delete all data removes all your discoveries, streak, settings and scheduled notifications. Deleting the app also removes all its data from your iPhone.

10. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to know whether your data is processed, to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to object and to seek compensation for damage. As the app sends us no personal data, these rights mainly apply to support emails. Send requests to destek@kasibor.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Kurulu).

11. Children

KASIBOR is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
